Considered one of Nepal’s best parks comprised of wetlands, riverine forests, and grassland. Park is Home to at least 68 species of mammals, the ‘King of the Jungle’ here is the Royal Bengal tiger. Leopards are most active on the fringes of the Park, and even though they co-exist with tigers, being socially subordinate they are not common in the tiger’s prime habitat. Should luck not be on your side in finding the rare Bengal tiger, your chances are higher of seeing the iconic great one-horn rhino, currently on the brink of extinction.
